How do I share courses with my students?

All parent accounts are able to share courses with students at varying amounts depending on your purchase. If you purchase a single course, you can share the course with a single student.  If you have a family membership, you can share with up to 4 students.


For the best experience in setting up sharing, we recommend using a computer rather than a mobile device.

Step 1

Parent should login to their account on mycompassclassroom.com and go to the Family Sharing Dashboard. You can find it on the left sidebar of MyCompassClassroom.

Step 2

Add your students by clicking the 'Add a child' button.

You can use their existing email address or create an account without an email address.

Step 3

Scroll down to the course library section. Use the check boxes to select which courses you want to give to your student. Then use the dropdown above to choose which student to assign them to.

Choose the courses you want to assign to a specific child.

Step 4

Once the student is linked to a course, you can use the 'Login as' button to directly switch to their account.  


As a parent, you can also track your student's progress by using the Student Progress Reports' tab.
