How do I share courses with my students?

All parent accounts are able to share courses with students depending on your purchase type.

• If you have purchased individual courses, you can assign each purchased course to only a single student, unless you have purchased multiple copies of the course.   
• If you have a family membership, you can assign courses to a maximum of 4 students.

For the best experience in setting up sharing, we recommend using a computer rather than a mobile device.

Step 1

Parent should login to their account on mycompassclassroom.com and go to the Family Sharing Dashboard. You can find it on the left sidebar of MyCompassClassroom.

Step 2

Add your students by clicking the 'Add family member' button.

Step 3

Scroll down to the student that you just added and click the 'assign course to user' button. Use the check boxes in the modal window  to select which courses you want to give to your student. Then use the dropdown above to choose which student to assign them to.

Step 4

As a parent, you can also track your student's progress by using the Student Progress tab.
