Purchasing Formats

For most of our curriculum products, we offer these three ways to purchase and/or use:

1. DVD - We send you one or more DVDs that you can play in standalone DVD player connected to your TV, or on any computer with a DVD player.  Pretty straightforward.  Please note that you cannot transfer these files to your computer or any mobile device.  If you want to do that, you'll need to buy Option 3, USB Thumb Drives.

2. Streaming - Streaming. You will have access to these for the life of our website!  There is no expiration date on these formats. You can stream our videos via My Compass Classroom. If you choose this option, or both Streaming and DVD/USB, you will be able to access all the videos and materials in this way:

• Via My Compass Classroom - Log in to your account using the the same login info from compassclassroom.com.  Click on My Courses from the left sidebar. If you click on this, you will see a list of all the products you have purchased to stream.
• On the DVD or USB Thumb Drive that you also purchased. Perhaps this is used when you have limited or no Internet access.

Per our family license guidelines, you may not sell the DVD or USB Thumb Drive to someone else and retain the streaming access for yourself. If you need help selling or transferring your license, we would be happy to help you at info@compassclassroom.com

3. USB Thumb Drives - This option is being rolled out for all our products, as we transition away from DVDs. They contain the highest quality video that we offer—better quality than via Streaming or DVD—and can be plugged into an HDTV for watching directly from the thumb drive, or accessed from a computer. You are also free to transfer these files from the USB drive to a computer or mobile device owned by someone in your household. These files are licensed to your family only and may not be distributed to others outside your family via file sharing services like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.

4. Membership - This delivery method packages a course's streaming content at recurring, budget-friendly prices.  You only have access to these for the time that you are a subscriber.  After you cancel your subscription, you will lose access to the content.  You will be able to access all the videos and any additional downloadable books for those courses on My Compass Classroom in the 'My Courses' section of the site.
